Back in mid‑2024 we started legal action against a former landlord. Because of an NDA we can’t go into names or the finer details, but what we can say is that we raised a breach of contract issue and The Spearhead Foundation has now recovered just over £12,000.

This money – which covers six months of rent and the original deposit paid by Craig and Dan – will be landing in our account in the next few days and will go straight into a restricted funding pot.

The whole thing was settled out of court, which finally brings an end to months of back‑and‑forth. It also puts to bed any rumours that were floating around from people who weren’t in the loop. For legal and privacy reasons we had to keep things quiet until everything was wrapped up, but we can now draw a line under it and focus on what’s ahead.
